If you live or work in the Hawkesbury-Nepean Valley you are at risk of flood. Your home, your family and your animals may be vulnerable when it floods. Check the NSW SES maps here to see how floods potentially affect your location

Use the Disaster Checklist and read the NSW SES fact sheets. Prepare the items to pack in your emergency kit.
FLOODS- KNOWING WHEN TO LEAVE?
Some local roads may be impacted by flooding. Check the NSW SES fact sheet for local evacuation routes to find roads on higher ground.
Never drive through flood water on a road.
FLOODS - HOW CAN YOU HELP?
NWCS is a community hub that will prepare and respond to local Riverstone in conjunction with the NSW State Emergency Services (NSW SES) and Blacktown City Council. Spontaneous Volunteers work together with NWCS when needed to respond using the Riverstone Disaster Project Equipment in the Resilience Trailer.
